Team lodging for St. George tournament weekends

Large houses for team weekends in St. George, near The Canyons, with a real drive to Little Valley and Bloomington.

The search is a house that sleeps the roster, close enough to the complex that an 8 a.m. game is possible. St. George does not put every field in one park. Where you sleep depends on which address is on the bracket.

The complexes the city actually uses

The Canyons Softball Complex is at 1890 W 2000 North, on Snow Canyon Parkway. The city describes it as the main softball grounds and names tournaments there, including the Huntsman Senior Games and the Heatstroker. A lot of fastpitch and slowpitch brackets start here.

When the draw is large, the city also sends games to The Fields at Little Valley, 2995 S 2350 East, and to Bloomington Park at 650 Man O War Road. Little Valley is the southeast side of town: six soccer fields, and 33 pickleball courts on the west side of that park. Bloomington is south. The city's tournament notes tell teams to expect any field, any start from morning through evening, and to plan travel and lodging for that. A preferred field or start time is a request, not a guarantee.

The Fields page also says the city does not take reservations there on marathon weekend. If your tournament lands on that weekend, read the marathon lodging guide too. Downtown and State Route 18 are a different kind of busy.

A west-side house, and an honest drive

Our larger St. George doors are on the west side, in Green Valley. That is a practical base for The Canyons. It is not next door to Little Valley or Bloomington. If the schedule can bounce you across town, stay west and drive. Do not book a house because a listing said it was minutes from every field.

  • Palm View at Sports Village, I-10 sleeps 12. Three bedrooms, a bunk room, and the resort's own pools and courts. Those courts are for the off-hour. They are not the city complex.
  • Estancia S304 sleeps 12. Two king suites and a bunk room, poolside at Estancia on Gap Canyon Parkway. Same side of town, a different resort.
  • Las Palmas 1810, Sunset Peak sleeps 12 inside Las Palmas, with a full kitchen and the resort pools. A second Las Palmas door is how you split a bigger roster. Ask for it by unit number. One condo is not a team hotel.

Published occupancy is the number to plan against: 12 in each of these. A full kitchen matters more than a lobby breakfast on a day that starts at 8.

Call (435) 313-5143 or write reservations@dusktodawnproperties.com with the roster and the complex on the schedule. Inquiry only. We will tell you if the door is actually open.

Between games

Snow Canyon is the short outing from the west side, and St. George is the dinner that is not another concession stand. More of the valley is on The Area.
